NOSEBLEED: A LOVE STORY R EACTION Upon reading the story, I thought I already knew what kind of ending it will be because it is common in a story that lovers always go back to their exes and made my own conclusions. But what I thought is complete opposite of what happened. After I finished reading the whole story, I understood little details. It turns out jay’s ex was torturing him and narrator seems to be the hero who rescues him. I didn’t quite get the whole story because of grammatical errors and I think that’s the author’s point; to confuse the reader. Nonetheless, the story was funny and I enjoyed reading and I think you have to read it all over again to get to the point of the story. v Side Questions: § Were you able to understand the dialogues in the story? The Witch Analysis Analysis on The Witch by Edilberto Tiempo is a reflection of the people, in this case Filipino provincials tend to believe on what is the talk of the town, regardless of knowing the real issue behind that. The narrator in the short story was an unnamed 12 year old son who lived in a town surrounded by barrios. He was a flat character. In line with these texts, 'once I was told to go to Libas with a bottle of business concern for Tio Sabelos' wife and I thought of bringing place shrimps to my mother' he was portrayed in the story as an obedient and a dutiful lad. Being a 12 year old boy, he was easily affected by the rumors surrounding him, to the point of almost believing them without reasonable proofs. He was unnamed because he lacks his own identity.
